Newpool Meadows is in Knypersley, Staffordshire Moorlands on the borders of Staffordshire.

The Friends of Newpool Meadows has been set up from the Newpool Meadows Action Group who fought long and hard to get this valuable piece of land Village Green status after it was threatened with development.  The meadow has been used for recreation for as long as can be remembered and we are proud to be able to know that  future generations can enjoy the land the way we have.  We are hopefully looking to enhance the natural environment by maintaining the current features and enhance further growth with the help of both Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and Staffordshire County Council who are the landowners, and advice from Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. 

We welcome all new members to any of our meetings, which are usually informal and friendly.  Refreshments are always available and we embrace any new ideas.
